Job Title: Business Manager - Affiliate Marketing


Job Summary:

The Business Manager for Affiliate Marketing will lead the operational efforts for affiliate marketing within the agency for the respective clients. This role is responsible for developing affiliate media plans, managing partnerships, driving campaign success, and optimizing performance to meet and exceed client KPIs. The ideal candidate has a robust understanding of the affiliate marketing ecosystem, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven ability to deliver results through data-driven strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute affiliate marketing media plans aligned with client goals.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their objectives and translate them into effective affiliate programs.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient campaign execution.


Affiliate Campaign Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of affiliate campaigns, ensuring compliance and performance consistency.
  • Optimize campaigns through data analysis to maximize ROI and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide strategic recommendations for improvement to clients.


Partnership & Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with affiliates and third-party networks.
  • Negotiate partnership terms and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for affiliates and clients, maintaining open communication and addressing inquiries and issues proactively.


Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Use analytics tools to monitor and evaluate campaign metrics, providing insights on campaign effectiveness.
  • Compile detailed reports on campaign performance, offering recommendations for future campaigns based on data insights.
  • Stay abreast of affiliate marketing trends and emerging technologies to keep campaigns innovative and competitive.


Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, tech, and analytics, to develop cohesive and effective affiliate campaigns.
  • Support team members' professional development, providing guidance on best practices in affiliate marketing.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, digital marketing, or partnership management.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing affiliate marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and affiliate marketing platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a digital marketing agency.
  • Familiarity with a variety of affiliate networks and platforms.
