I - Position Overview
Job Title: AGM/General Manager, System Design & Dev.
Department: System Design & Development
Designation: General Manager System Design

Location & Area covered: Primarily Bangalore. Occasional visits will be to Pune (10-20%)

Role & Responsibility
This is a leadership level position where your role demands
- Leading & mentoring and building a strong team of Software & Hardware engineers to build novel medical devices.
- Responsible for the Planning, Monitoring, Timely Delivery & Quality of the deliverables.
- Responsible for Managing & Delivering system design projects and working in tandem with key stakeholders like Innovation, Engineering & Manufacturing in specific on a day to day basis along with managing external stakeholders.
- Understanding the Product Concept and designing Hardware & Firmware from Concept to Product Acceptance.
- Creating a centre of excellence in electro-mechanical/advanced technology based medical devices
- Ensuring compliance to the applicable standards
- Reviewing Design, Verification & Validation, Risk management
- Must be aware of the Compliance testing as per the requirements
- Responsible for Department Budgeting and budget management
- Must have complete control of the system design/architecture/ Hardware / Firmware/ FPGA /Processors etc.
- Responsible for releasing specs for prototyping, pilot & production stages.
II – Skills Required
Academics requirements: Must Have:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunications or Mechatronics, Robotics
Experience Required Min and Max -15 + yrs of experience
Relevant Experience required
#Must have good understanding of the requirements as per ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 60601 & IEC 62304.
#Must have handled at least three end to end projects till product launch.
#Experience of managing both Software & Hardware team is essential.
#Prior experience of handling similar role is essential.
#Prior Working experience with leading companies for semiconductors / sensors / medical grade materials will be preferred.
#Candidates with Design + Manufacturing experience will be preferred.
#Technical Expertise needed in High-Speed Boards with Processor, FPGA and interfaces like PCIe, DDR3/4, USB Type C, Ethernet interfaces (SFP+, RGMII), SPI, I2C.
#Must have thorough knowledge on technologies like USB, PCIe, DDR3, DDR4, SRAM, FLASH MEMORY, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, M.2 Slot, Ethernet interfaces, DAC, ADC etc.
III – Other skills
