Job Overview:
As an Inside Sales Specialist in the Life Sciences Division at MTOR Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd., you will be a key member of our sales team, supporting sales operations, generating leads, and nurturing customer relationships to drive business growth. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of life sciences products and excellent sales and communication skills to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and generate potential leads within the life sciences market, including research institutions, academic labs, and industry customers.
- Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with potential and existing clients via phone calls, emails, and other digital communication channels.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Track and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and a high conversion rate from leads to opportunities.
- Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of MTOR Life Sciences’ product offerings, focusing on features, benefits, and competitive positioning in the life sciences sector.
- Quoting & Negotiation: Prepare and send quotations, negotiate terms, and close deals in alignment with company pricing policies.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and feedback using CRM tools (e.g., Odoo CRM).
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends and customer needs to provide feedback to the sales and product teams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with field sales, technical, and support teams to ensure smooth and successful customer experiences.
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the life sciences or biotech industry. Fresh graduates with strong sales aptitude and a science background may also be considered.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of life sciences products and their applications. Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Odoo, is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is a plus.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to engage clients, build relationships, and close sales effectively.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets.
