Overview: We are seeking a seasoned General Manager - Quality with extensive experience in high-end apparel, specifically in blazers, suits, and coats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our quality assurance and control functions, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role is crucial for maintaining our reputation for excellence and driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management strategies and policies focused on high-end apparel, including blazers, suits, and coats.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and precision in the production of high-end garments.
  • Monitor and review quality metrics specific to high-end apparel, conduct audits, and oversee corrective and preventive actions to address any quality issues.
  • Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality initiatives that ensure premium standards for blazers, suits, and coats.
  • Ensure compliance with international quality standards, industry certifications, and regulatory requirements related to high-end garment production.
  • Analyze quality data and trends specific to blazers, suits, and coats to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the consistency and quality of high-end garments, aiming to reduce defects and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company in quality-related meetings with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, particularly in discussions related to high-end apparel.


Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, Quality Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in quality management within the apparel manufacturing industry, with substantial experience in high-end products such as blazers, suits, and coats.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing quality control processes and teams focused on premium garments.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, industry standards (such as ISO, ASTM), and regulatory requirements specific to high-end apparel.
  • Proven track record of leading quality improvement initiatives and managing quality teams effectively within the context of high-end apparel.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data related to high-end garments and make data-driven decisions.
