Introduction to identify.bio:


Over the past 2 decades, technology has completely transformed the way we live and work. So much so that organizations around the world were able to transition to a remote environment at a moment’s notice during the onset of the pandemic. There are few aspects of our life that are yet to radically reinvent themselves and maintain the digital status quo. So far, pathology has lagged, but not for long.


Pathology is the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory examination of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes. The gateway to analysing each cell within our bodies, and the interconnections between them, has always been the microscope. A nifty tool, but one that has been largely unchanged for the last 150 years. Due to its intricate nature and extreme computational requirements, technologists have so far been unable to transform this field of medicine. However, rapid innovations in cloud computing, imaging techniques and AI mean we are now ready to revolutionise the field. identify.bio, backed by India’s largest clinical research organization – SIRO Clinpharm seeks to make faster and more accurate diagnoses of Cancer – and we need your help to get it done. We are looking for Software Engineers who are a passionate, driven individuals ready to solve problems that world has not faced before.


Our company is building an AI enabled digital pathology platform to be used by pathology labs to view whole slide images. We are also working on various AI algorithms to be used by pathologists in their daily routine. identify.bio is a pioneering company on the forefront of AI-powered solutions for pathology. We develop next-generation algorithms that empower pathologists to deliver faster, more accurate diagnoses. We're seeking a results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our growing team and propel our AI solutions into leading pathology labs across the globe.


Designation: Business Development  

Location: Remote (Mumbai Preferred)  

Years of Experience: 8+ years


This Role Requires:

  • B2B sales experience selling medical devices / other equipment to pathology labs
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • A strong understanding of the pathology workflow and the challenges faced by pathology labs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor your message to different audiences.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Ability to maintain consistent contact with existing clients.
  • Deep understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to be part of a company making a real difference in healthcare.
