Role Description
: As a Franchise Development Manager, you will play a key role in the growth and success of our franchise operations. This position is ideal for someone with 3 years of experience in franchise development or sales, who is passionate about building strong business relationships, identifying opportunities, and ensuring the long-term success of our franchise network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Franchise Recruitment: Identify and engage potential franchise partners through lead generation, market research, and targeted outreach. Manage the recruitment process from prospecting to franchise agreement execution.
• Franchise Development Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and attract high-quality franchise candidates. Utilize a mix of traditional and digital marketing methods.
• Franchise Sales Presentations: Conduct in-depth presentations and meetings with prospective franchisees, highlighting the benefits of joining our network and walking them through the onboarding process.
• Market Analysis: Conduct research and analysis of target markets to identify growth opportunities, expansion areas, and areas for improvement.
• Franchise Support & Training: Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees during the onboarding phase. Ensure they understand the operational processes and provide guidance on initial setup and launch.
• Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate terms and conditions with potential franchisees. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize franchise agreements.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current and potential franchisees to ensure satisfaction and support their success.
• Franchise Performance Monitoring: Work closely with the operations team to ensure franchisee performance meets company standards and objectives. Provide ongoing support to franchisees as they scale their businesses.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of franchise leads, agreements, and performance metrics. Provide regular updates to senior management regarding franchise development activities and progress. Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in franchise development, sales, or business development (preferably within a franchise system).
• Strong understanding of the franchise industry and franchise operations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
• Results-driven with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding franchise recruitment targets.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in franchising within [specific industry, e.g., F&B, retail, fitness, etc.] is a plus.
• Experience in franchise marketing or lead generation.
• Knowledge of legal and financial aspects of franchising
