Position – Technical/R&D Head

Company Description

We are India's one of the oldest life saving medical devices manufacturing companies established in 1978. We are one of the fastest growing Indian companies with its R&D Centre located in Noida, It has the technical capabilities and competent resources to research and develop high-end ICU equipment in a progressive frame work. We have also provided the largest number of ventilators to the Indian Government during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Job Description

The core scope of the role of the incumbent would be to scaling & advancing the existing competencies in line with the latest technological knowledge and information around. The incumbent must possess the demonstrative ability to partnering with internal and external stakeholders to add enhanced capabilities to new product development, drive synergies and consistency accomplishing the larger organizational goals.

  • Create a long-term plan to develop the roadmap of growth and capability building.
  • Team leadership, skill development and resource management for the team with clear vision.
  • Setup Key Product Development & Testing Capabilities with focus on most used tests for long-term strategy of capabilities for NPD.
  • Formulate and implement strategic plans to help drive the overarching strategic plan and settings future growth path & for the organization
  • Provide direction to the team in complex or challenging situations, remove obstacles, assign appropriate resources and interface with other functions to assist to resolve the issues effectively.
  • Work cross-functionally in identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Drives and evaluate project and department progress, technical development plans, and results.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics.
  • Experience: 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in R&D, preferably in the medical device industry (Ventilator & Anesthesia Machine) .
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Embedded Systems, GUI, BLDC motor driven Blower, Micro Processor/Micro Controller.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical data and Respiratory Physiology.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Innovation: Creative thinking and a passion for developing innovative solutions that address unmet medical needs.
