Key Account Executive- Modern Trade

Hello We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Sales Executive with a proven track record in managing Modern Trade Accounts within the FMCG industry.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling key accounts such as D'mart, Big Bazaar, Cash & Carry, Natures Basket, Spencers, Hyper Market, Reliance Fresh, ABRL, among others. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role. The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strategic relationships, and leading the distribution team to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1.ModernTrade Account Management:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key modern trade accounts.
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales and market share within each account.
- Negotiate terms, promotions, and agreements to achieve mutual business objectives.
2.Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop forward-thinking strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and overcome challenges.
- Plan and implement promotional activities, product launches, and brand initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
3.Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and motivate the distribution team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
4.Decision Making and Accountability:
- Make informed decisions based on data, market insights, and business objectives.
- Take full responsibility for decisions and their consequences, ensuring alignment with company policies and values.
Key Competencies:
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing Modern Trade Accounts for a minimum of 3 years, with a focus on key accounts listed such as D'mart, Big Bazaar, Cash & Carry, Natures Basket, Spencers, Hyper Market, Reliance Fresh, ABRL, etc.
- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels within modern trade accounts.
- Strategic Thinking: Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing complex data and market dynamics to identify opportunities, trends, and risks.
- Decision Making: Capable of making sound decisions under pressure, taking into account various factors and potential consequences.
- Leadership and Vision: Clear commitment to leading the distribution team effectively, inspiring others towards a shared vision of success.
