Our dark-store model, daily procurement engine, and real-time digital experience allow us to offer a differentiated fresh grocery experience to households.As we scale, Freshly is expanding deeper into fresh grocery categories, and category excellence is a core driver of our next phase of growth.RoleWe are hiring a Senior Manager – Category to own strategy, assortment, vendor development, pricing, and P&L for Freshly’s expanding fresh-grocery portfolio. This is a high-impact role where you will build categories from the ground up and work closely with founders across product, operations, and supply chain.ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute category strategy across Freshly’s fresh-grocery portfolio.Build and refine assortment, pricing ladders, visibility plans, and margin structures.Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; negotiate commercials and improve unit economics.Ensure product availability, demand planning accuracy, and low stock-outs across stores.Own category P&L: margins, wastage norms, offers, and efficiencies.Drive customer insights, velocity analysis, and data-led decision making.Collaborate with product, operations, and marketing to drive category growth and experience.Requirements5–10 years of category management experience in e-commerce, quick commerce, D2C, or modern trade.Strong commercial and analytical skills; comfort with fast decision cycles.Proven ability to build and scale categories in a fast-paced environment.High ownership mindset with cross-functional execution capability.Experience in fresh grocery, perishables, or fast-moving categories is a strong plus.Why Join FreshlyOwn and shape category strategy in a fast-scaling fresh-commerce brand.Work closely with founders in a high-ownership, high-autonomy environment.Competitive compensation and a chance to influence Freshly’s next growth chapter.
