Job Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing production-related accounting within the beauty and personal care manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Tally, accounts payable, banking operations, and knowledge of import and export procedures is essential.


Key Responsibilities:


Production-Related Accounting:

  • Oversee and manage accounting tasks related to production activities.
  • Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of production costs in Tally.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to manage cost-effective procurement and utilization of materials.

Accounts Payable Management:

  • Handle end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate payment terms.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments.

Banking Operations:

  • Manage daily banking transactions and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with banks for various financial services and requirements.

Import and Export Knowledge:

  • Handle accounting for import and export transactions, including documentation, compliance, and payment processes.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth and compliant import/export operations.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in international trade.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in the beauty and personal care manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP software.
  • Strong understanding of production-related accounting principles and practices.
  • Solid experience in accounts payable management and banking operations.
  • Knowledge of import and export procedures, documentation, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
