Job Summary

The Nonprofit Program Coordinator will play a key role in managing and supporting SVP’s programs in India. This includes coordinating needs assessments, managing program implementation, conducting impact evaluations, engaging with CSR sponsors, and ensuring the successful delivery of solar energy solutions to underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of solar energy programs in collaboration with local teams.
  • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community leaders, and local teams, for smooth program execution.
  • Needs Assessments & Impact Evaluations:
  • Conduct and coordinate needs assessments to identify opportunities for program interventions.
  • Plan and manage baseline and follow-up impact evaluations to measure program effectiveness.
  • CSR Sponsor Engagement:
  • Assist with CSR sponsor outreach, proposal development, and donor communication.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for sponsors to demonstrate program outcomes.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all program activities.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and ensure compliance with donor and organizational requirements.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Managing Director, field teams, and other stakeholders to address operational challenges and ensure program success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, project management, development studies, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in nonprofit program management or coordination.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple programs and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience working in rural or underserved communities is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
