Overview:

Sales Analyst role involves the person to assessing sales data for the organization and examine daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement, comparing actual sales data, design and develop cutting-edge data-driven solutions by performing business analysis, data analysis and translating business and functional requirements into sales performance. This role will require critical thinking and analytical skills to support delivery on strategic initiatives and analytics projects. This will include working directly with the business teams on critical tasks including data gathering, data analysis, KPI identification and report design and maintenance. UAT/UVT of the data pipeline to establish the accuracy and usability of the data marts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Preparing and maintain Sales reports to answer critical business questions, sales performance across channels, Agents etc., proactively identify notable trends and communicate business performance in a clear and articulate manner.

Provide standard / non-standard data as per the business needs from standard data marts

Perform UAT, UVT and performance tests on new data

Apply expertise in data mining and modelling leveraging multiple data sources to uncover unique insights, identify key performance drivers

Consult with partners to develop metrics and reporting solutions that measure key inputs, outputs, and productivity of business operations

Prepare concise, compelling written communications to present findings and recommendations to internal partners and document methods for transparency and continuity

Collaborate with data and analytics teams across bank to leverage vast data sets, analytic tools, and other resources to advance the quality and timeliness of analysis

Provide requirements for data analysis and data structure to improve ability to generate scalable analytic solutions

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational qualification – Bachelors / Master in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) from any reputed institute

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in BFSI / FMCG / ecommerce / fintech.

Demonstrated analytical skills to work through complex problems, manipulate and analyse large data sets, and produce actionable business insights

Proficiency in extracting and manipulating data using SAS, Python, PySpark, R, SQL, PostgreSQL with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy, Excel for ad hoc data analysis, visualization.

Working experience in AWS environment for data access and analysis

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.

A drive to learn and master new technologies, techniques, and digital banking.
