Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Sales Operations and Bid Manager to join our Sales & Business Development team. This role will report directly to the Head of Sales and is crucial in supporting the sales cycle, managing the bid process, and maintaining our CRM.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Operations & CRM Management:

o Update the CRM system with key data, including task lists, sales opportunities, and client information.

o Capture status updates from various communication channels (emails, calls, texts) and ensure accurate tracking of sales opportunities within the CRM.

o Follow up with the sales team on the status of assigned tasks to ensure timely updates and completion.

o Take meeting minutes and convert them into actionable tasks within the CRM.

o Prepare and draft email communications to leads and manage follow-ups.


Bid Management & Proposal Development:

o Coordinate the bid process from start to finish, ensuring that all deadlines are met and necessary documents are prepared.

o Follow up with internal teams to ensure timely task completion related to bids and proposals.

o Draft proposal documents and assist in finalising submission packages.


Key Requirements:


  • Previous experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support, or Bid Management roles.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems (Zoho CRM experience is highly desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional emails and proposals.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong team collaboration and task management skills.


3-Month Plan & Expectations

  • Onboarding and Familiarisation: Gain a solid understanding of Navatech’s solutions, sales processes, and business development strategies.
  • CRM Setup & Optimisation: Take ownership of CRM updates, ensuring all current opportunities and tasks are reflected accurately in the system. Begin following up on tasks and capturing status updates from the sales team.
  • Assist with Bid Proposals: Start contributing to bid preparation and proposal drafting, learning from senior team members.
  • Draft Emails to Warm Leads: Begin preparing and sending draft communications to warm leads under supervision.


6-Month Plan & Expectations

  • Independently Manage Sales Ops Tasks: Handle all aspects of the sales operations support function independently, including CRM management and task follow-ups.
  • Bid Management: Take full responsibility for managing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely submissions and document accuracy.
  • Support Business Development: Proactively assist in outreach and email campaigns, driving growth opportunities and lead generation.


12-Month Plan & Expectations

  • Strategic Improvements: Identify areas for improvement within the sales operations processes and CRM system to increase efficiency.
  • Ownership of Bid Strategy: Be seen as a go-to expert for managing bids and proposals, providing insights into improving win rates.
  • Business Development Expansion: Play a key role in expanding Navatech's business development efforts, contributing to the growth of outreach campaigns and securing new business opportunities.
