Our SaaS offering helps insurance companies in the US make smarter, faster decisions by leveraging advanced AI to optimize underwriting processes, reduce risk, and improve premiums. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an ambitious, results-driven Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team.
Position Overview
As an Account Executive at Pibit, You’ll be an early member of the sales team, working closely with the founder and responsible for driving sales of our AI-powered underwriting solutions to key decision-makers in the US market. You’ll play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and closing deals that fuel our company’s growth. This is a high-impact role where your sales expertise and enthusiasm for innovation will directly shape the future of AI in underwriting.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target new sales opportunities: Actively prospect and generate leads in the US underwriting sectors.
- Drive the US Sales Pipeline: Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects by understanding their needs and demonstrating how Pibit’s AI solutions can address them.
- Lead the sales cycle: From initial outreach to closing the deal, manage the entire sales process including product demos, negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Deal Maturing: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
- Deal Velocity: Active in experimenting with various ideas with a focus on increasing the deal velocity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and provide feedback for product improvements.
- Stay ahead of industry trends: Keep up-to-date with developments in AI, underwriting, and insurance to position Pibit as a market leader.
- Travel and event participation: Represent Pibit at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the US.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales experience: 3+ years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally within AI, or the insurance industry.
- Track record of success: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a passion for closing deals.
- Relationship builder: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable with AI technology and able to articulate the value of Pibit’s solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated: Results-oriented with a proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Willingness to travel: Willing and able to travel across the US to meet with clients and attend industry events.
