Summary:

The Product Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of ConnectWise platforms, from gathering requirements, designing technical and functional specifications, managing the product backlog, and coordinating development efforts through to implementation and subsequent support. This role works in partnership with cross functional teams to coordinate and enhance development efforts, aid partners in product navigation, and find effective solutions.


Knowledge of backup technologies and storage domains is a plus.


Responsibilities:

Develop and execute product strategy for Data Protection products, driving business growth through innovative ideas in backup and automation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Define product requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends.
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle: From ideation to launch.
  • Post-launch monitoring and optimization.
  • Define and track key performance metrics.
  • Develop product documentation, marketing materials, and sales collateral.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and leverage them for product differentiation.
  • Provide support to the product management team: With a high attention to detail.
  • May coach, review, and/or delegate work.
  • Define and drive the business plan for product alignment with corporate growth strategy.
  • Collaborate to solve problems:Assess risks.
  • Communicate solutions effectively.
  • Interact with customers and prospects:Define market requirements.
  • Communicate needs to the development team.
  • Monitor product performance: Evaluate adoption rates, user experience, and production issues. Prioritize the product backlog.
  • Represent ConnectWise in various engagements.
