We're looking for Dynamic and Passionate Sous Chef for Hyderabad & Bengaluru locations.


The ideal candidate has a strong passion for culinary excellence and a keen eye for detail. The profile will be assisting the Executive Chef in providing exceptional food quality and presentation.


Key roles and responsibilities

  • Preparation of new menus and recipes with a view to adhering to health requirements.
  • Ensure readiness of the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites based in Production chart.
  • Adhering to the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeping up to date with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
  • Guide and lead subordinates through their daily requirements in food preparation and actively take part in set up and supervising of buffets and special functions.
  • Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
  • To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food Services combinations and up sell alternatives as necessary.
  • Consult and check on daily requirements, functions and last-minute events.
  • Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff


What's required:

  • Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management/any other related course
  • 8+ years' Experience in multi cuisine (exposure in Pan Asian, Continental & Oriental Culinary)
  • Preferred candidates who have worked in Star Hotel such as Oberoi, ITC, Hyatt, Taj, JW Marriot, Leela, Hilton, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in bulk catering
