Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud network architecture to ensure high availability, reliability, and security, implementing cost management strategies to control expenditure.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams. Ensure data security and compliance within the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Managing Third Party SaaS Tools and providers: Evaluate, implement, and manage third-party SaaS tools to enhance productivity and efficiency. Monitor the performance and cost-effectiveness of these tools.
  • Endpoint Lifecycle Management: Supervise the full lifecycle of desktop, from provisioning to retirement. Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for company and BYOD devices, integrating security tools to ensure data protection.
  • Analyse vulnerability and penetration test results to identify potential security weaknesses, in either cloud infrastructure, applications or 3rd party SaaS. Provide expert advice and prepare remediation actions to address identified issues, utilizing security tooling for threat mitigation.
  • Procurement and management of software licenses.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and contractors, ensuring the provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts, access permissions, and assets. Collaborate with HR, Operations, Finance, and back office to streamline the onboarding and offboarding workflows.
  • Security and Compliance: Evaluate, implement, and manage security tooling and services. Collaborate with the rest of the team to maintain and audit IT security policies and procedures. Utilize security tooling to monitor and enforce compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including current data-privacy laws, and other industry-specific requirements.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Azure Infrastructure

Experienced and knowledgeable in Azure Cloud infrastructure, with a focus on IT infrastructure transformation, modernization, cost control, on-prem to cloud migration, cloud networking and cloud security and tooling. (ENTRA Id - Azure Active Directory, IaaS - virtual machines, virtual networks, Azure backups).

Advantageous: SAML and OpenID authentication applications

Advantageous: ENTRA premium services such as conditional access, password protection

Advantageous: Azure Universal Print

Advantageous: Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD)

  • Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 suite experience i.e. SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and administration centres.

  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages i.e. PowerShell, bash.
  • Moderate knowledge on SQL - Infrastructure level, supporting SQL installation and uptime. Optional, advantageous: understand basic SQL queries.
  • Knowledge on Intune - configuration of policies, compliance policies, joining a Windows device manually, autopilot, Intune win32-apps via Intunewin.
  • Experience in automating staff onboarding/offboarding.
  • Prior experience in the FMCG would be desirable, but not essential.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and visualisation.
  • Proficiency in Vulnerability Management and remediation.
  • Windows Server Infrastructure

Windows Domain, understanding OU structures, site replication, users, groups, computers.

Group policy, Windows DHCP, Windows DNS, Windows Print services (deploy new printer via GPO), Windows File services (sharing, permissions)

Advantageous: Can setup a basic RD session collection (DC, broker, gateway, licensing server, session host)

  • Windows Client

  • Experience with migrating businesses from legacy to modern workplace structures.
  • Experience with Microsoft Modern Workplace transformation highly advantageous.
  • Security conscious with attention to detail and an advocate of security best practices.
  • Any Microsoft certifications would be an added advantage.
