Role Summary



The Manager - Alliances & Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic relationships with key partners to drive business growth, market expansion, and revenue opportunities. This role will focus on cultivating and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial partnerships that align with the company’s objectives. The individual will work cross-functionally with Store operations, Ecom, Marketing, CRM, Analytics, IT, Legal and other internal teams to execute partnership strategies, optimize partner performance, and drive the overall success of alliance initiatives.


Responsibilities



  • Managing cobrand partnership with largest bank in the country, driving growth, acquisitions, customers spends, usage & retention. POC for corporate & regional teams for day-to-day operations.
  • Identify potential partner organizations that complement the company’s offerings and create new business opportunities for the group, negotiate and formalize partnership agreements, including terms, pricing, and joint value propositions.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with key partners, ensuring the partnership delivers expected value (Banks/ Fintech/ Aggregators/Consumer Apps / Telecom, etc)
  • Monitor the performance of alliance partners, track KPIs, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Act as a liaison between partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Work closely with the CRM, marketing, and business teams to align partnership strategies with overall business goals.
  • Regularly assess the performance and health of partnerships, identifying areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Develop and deliver periodic reports on partnership performance, including revenue impact, customer acquisition, and other key metrics. Analysing competitors alliances to identify strengths and weaknesses that would be used to improve own company alliances.
  • Oversee the execution of Group CRM initiatives, marketing campaigns across channels, including email, social media, digital ads, content marketing, instore, ECom, etc.
  • Work with creative teams to produce campaign assets (e.g., copy, visuals, landing pages, etc.) and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Manage campaign budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively for maximum impact.


Skills & Qualifications:


  • Education: Master’s degree in business/marketing or relevant field (MBA)
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or alliance management, with a proven track record of successfully building and managing high-impact partnerships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with experience structuring and managing complex partnership agreements.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to track and evaluate partnership performance, understand market dynamics, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple partnerships and initiatives concurrently.
