Position Overview:

As a People Manager in our leadership development program, you will have the opportunity to grow and advance within our organization. This role is designed to groom you for the position of Chief People Officer in the long-term. You will begin your journey as the Warehouse People Manager, where you will be responsible for creating and implementing HR systems within our warehouse operations.


Responsibilities Overview:

This LDP role is created for individuals who are passionate about creating sustainable systems that ensure employee morale and drive while simultaneously collaborating with the business development team to ensure business growth.


The key responsibilities can be divided into 3 high-level functions:

1.Hiring, Onboarding, & New-Hire Training:

  • Lead the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires, focusing on job-specific skills and company culture.

2.Employee Security, Payroll, Morale & Discipline:

  • Manage employee security measures and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payments.
  • Monitor and maintain employee morale and discipline, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

3.Learning & Development:

  • Develop and implement learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities for skill enhancement within the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver training programs that align with business objectives.


Qualifications Overview:

Potential candidates should be adept at building trust and influencing decision-making. We are looking for candidates with multiple years of proven experience in building high-performing teams using self-created sustainable practices. Knowledge and proven application of modern management methodologies such as Agile, Lean, OKR, Zero to One, Good to Great, & Waterfall is a must.


Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product or People Manager.
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge in using HR software such as SAP, Keka, is a strong pre-requisite.
  • Management Certifications (Scrum Master, Product Owner, PMP) are a bonus.
  • Proven ability to learn & lead.
  • Proven ability in building trust and building highly-productive teams.
