Job Description: Growth Manager (New Initiatives)
Position Overview:
The Growth Manager for New Initiatives is responsible for driving innovative strategies and projects that expand the brand’s market presence, improve customer engagement, and boost revenue across online and offline channels. This role combines a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to identify, plan, and execute growth opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company’s marketing and business objectives. The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic environment, leveraging data-driven insights and creative thinking to pioneer impactful initiatives in the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth Initiatives:
- Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities for online and offline marketing channels in the retail sector.
- Develop and execute pilot programs for innovative initiatives, assessing feasibility, scalability, and ROI.
- Collaborate with leadership to align new projects with business objectives and long-term strategies.
Online Marketing Expansion:
- Drive growth strategies for e-commerce platforms, websites, and social media campaigns.
- Develop performance marketing campaigns to acquire new customers and improve customer retention.
- Identify emerging digital trends, tools, and platforms to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Offline Marketing Innovations:
- Lead new retail initiatives such as in-store activations, experiential marketing, and localized campaigns.
- Collaborate with store teams to design and implement strategies that drive foot traffic and in-store conversions.
- Partner with vendors and agencies to bring creative offline campaigns to life.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Use analytics and market research to identify customer preferences, market gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
- Adjust strategies based on data insights to optimize campaign performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and operations teams to integrate new initiatives seamlessly.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to create compelling materials for campaigns.
- Build partnerships with external stakeholders to explore co-marketing and cross-promotional opportunities.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage budgets for new initiatives, ensuring cost-effective execution.
- Allocate resources strategically to maximize impact and ensure timely project delivery.
Innovation and Trend Awareness:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inspire innovative ideas.
- Experiment with emerging technologies, tools, and methods to gain a competitive edge.
Project Leadership and Execution:
- Lead end-to-end execution of growth projects, from ideation to implementation and analysis.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven 7- 8 years of experience in growth management, business development, or marketing in the retail or e-commerce sector.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Excel.
- Expertise in both digital and traditional marketing strategies.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience launching new products, services, or campaigns in the retail sector.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing.
