Job Title : Assistant Manager – Copywriting & Content

Reporting to : AGM - Marketing

Location : Gurgaon


Key Responsibilities


We are looking for a creative copywriter with about 2-3 years of work experience to join our Marketing team and deliver captivating content for our branding and admissions initiatives. Following are the expectations from the role:


Writing clear, crisp and engaging copy

  • Create persuasive and impactful copy that resonates with the target audience of Great Lakes for ads, video scripts, social media creatives, email campaigns and other marketing collateral
  • Craft compelling narratives that highlight the school’s USPs - programs, faculty, curriculum, student quality and achievements
  • Conduct periodic research to benchmark with the marketing collateral of other Indian & international business schools


Collaboration

  • Work closely with designers, marketing professionals, and other team members to develop cohesive marketing projects and campaigns
  • Align copywriting efforts with the overall marketing goals, and be consistent with the brand guidelines


Qualifications, Experience and Competency requirements


Proven Experience: Previous experience of 2-3 years as a copywriter, preferably in the Higher Education industry

Excellent Writing Skills: Strong command of grammar and English vocabulary

Creativity: Innovative thinking and the ability to convey complex information in a concise and engaging manner


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field

  • A natural storyteller with excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to develop content consistent with the company’s brand voice, style and tone
  • Market intelligence around best practices and current trends
  • Should be a go-getter, self-driven and well organized
