Job Purpose and Objective:
The Regional Head of Outreach & BD at NICMAR will play a pivotal role in driving the institution’s growth and visibility through strategic planning, brand management, and targeted outreach. This role is focused on enhancing NICMAR’s market presence, increasing student registrations across campuses, and building strong industry and academic partnerships. The objective is to align all marketing and business development efforts with the institutional goals to ensure NICMAR's reputation as a leading institution in the built environment and construction management education sector.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and business development strategies.
- Ensure alignment of all marketing initiatives with NICMAR’s institutional goals and objectives.
- Drive the execution of strategic plans to meet or exceed applications & enrollment targets and expand market reach.
- Brand Management:
- Strengthen and maintain the NICMAR brand across all platforms.
- Create and deliver consistent, compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Monitor and enhance the institution’s brand equity and reputation in the market.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify new opportunities for growth in the segments of skilling, understanding K12 to UG market etc.
- Analyze competitive landscapes, market trends, and student preferences to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide actionable insights to guide marketing and outreach efforts.
- Student Registrations Across Campuses:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize student registrations across all three campuses.
- Measure, analyze, and improve conversion rates from leads to applications and finally to enrolments.
- Engage with potential students through various channels to ensure a high conversion rate.
- Partnerships and Collaborations:
- Build and sustain strong relationships with industry partners, alumni, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop strategic alliances and partnerships to boost NICMAR’s institutional reputation and outreach.
- Leverage partnerships to create new opportunities for student placements, internships, and collaborations.
- Budget Management:
- Plan and manage the marketing and business development budgets effectively.
- Ensure optimal and cost-effective allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals.
- Monitor spending and adjust strategies to stay within budget while maximizing impact.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing and business development teams.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and performance-driven work environment.
- Set clear objectives, provide feedback, and ensure the team meets or exceeds performance targets.
- Event Management and Outreach:
- Organize and manage events, webinars, and outreach programs that promote NICMAR’s offerings.
- Engage with the broader community, including students, professionals, and industry leaders.
- Ensure that all outreach efforts effectively communicate NICMAR’s value proposition.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Outreach, Team Management, B2C, B2B2C, and Offline Marketing, specifically within the Higher Education or Edtech domain.
- Location: Based in Delhi, Pune, or Hyderabad.
- Travel: This role requires 80% travel to target campuses, meetings with external stakeholders, student engagements, presentations, and webinars.
