Responsibilities:


  • Provide advanced technical support for specific applications/systems, serving as the escalation point for complex issues from L1 support.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot intricate technical problems, conduct in-depth root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions or bug fixes to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate closely with L1 support and/or customer, development teams, and other cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Lead and participate in the planning and execution of application upgrades, patches, and migrations.
  • Mentor and guide junior support engineers, contributing to their professional development and knowledge enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for troubleshooting procedures, known issues, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to prioritize bug fixes, enhancements, and new feature implementations based on customer feedback and support trends.
  • Proactively monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Understand applications domain and various integration channels , have hands-on on application source code flow, functionality , and assist/guide external vendors or govt agencies to integrate their systems with our system by resolving their queries and technical issues .
  • Closely work with customer support staff to resolve day-to-day issues, queries from end users , customer’s internal audit departmentand assist in customer in smooth day-to-day business function.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in L2 Application Support with a strong focus on Java technologies, SQL , PL/SQL
  • Solid experience in SQL, PL/SQL using relational database.
  • Solid understanding of Java core concepts, multithreading, and design patterns, webservices (SOAP), REST APIs and with respective strong programming skills.
  • Experience with middleware technologies such as Servlets, JSP Oracle weblogic and respective enterprise applications development and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Java applications, including memory profiling, performance tuning and SQL tuning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Experience on Spring, Hibernate is and additional advantage.
