Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role as a Senior Application Engineer at Saint-Gobain Group in Jamshedpur, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Noida, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, India.
  • The Senior Application Engineer will be responsible for technical support, mechanical engineering, and testing, Industrial Sales / Application Engineering / Project Engineering experience across any Industrial Consumables / Abrasives products, Auto-OEM,Auto ancillary, Bearings.
  • A Work experience background with companies namely, JSW,Tata Steel,Motherson Technotools,SKF,L&T,Adot Fontoch,Kirloskar etc.
Ceratizit India pvt ltd is and added advantage.

  • The role involves daily tasks related to troubleshooting, developing and implementing Mechanical (Bearing) solutions, designing mechanical systems, and conducting testing activities.
Qualifications

  • Ready to learn new application based instrument SOP's
  • Expereince in Auto motive Industry is preferred.
  • Strong Knowledge of Application Engineering/Product Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Production / Technical Services / Project Engineering
  • Experience in handling Sales for Industrial Consumables / Abrasives products,Auto-OEM,Auto ancillary, Bearings
  • Technical Support, Mechanical Development, and Testing skills
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production) or related field
Accountability:

  • Senior Application engineer is responsible for product establishment and development project
  • Co-ordination with different agencies internally & externally for Application Engineering work
  • Work for Business centric & customer centric project
  • New product testing work with Product Management team
  • Product testing, report generation and preparation of commercial proposals for customers
  • Responsible for Customer training program
  • Special attention to key OEM's in the region for getting new leads for business generation
  • Close co-ordination with Sales team for all development projects
  • Keep track on production, competition & development activity for key customers in the region
