Job Description: Duties:
  • Sr System Analyst onthe Software Asset Management team within Client Technology isresponsible for handling software requisition perform extensiveExcel analysis review software license agreements and maintaininglicense compliance and audit readiness.
KeyResponsibilities:
  • Managing and resolving tickets inthe ServiceNow queue efficiently and effectively while embracing acustomerfocused mindset
  • Contributes to the creation and maintenance of knowledgebase articles and documentation
  • Ensure Software Asset Management policies and processesare followed by end users and effective software lifecyclemanagement
  • Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to supportlicense renewals resolve software license risk and performmitigating actions
  • Retrieve normalize and present large data sets in aformat that is immediately useful to answering specific questionsand provide actionable insights
  • Perform adhoc analyses using advanced Excel functionsfrom multiple data sources to drive business decisions on softwareusage and license optimization opportunities
  • Make business decisions thatdirectly impact software expenses and license compliance Deliverassigned operational tasks reports data sets and analysis insightsto support Operational reviews
  • Reviews and interprets Clients software licenseagreements and identify rules obligations and license expectationsto ensure compliance with all software license agreements andsoftware usage
  • Displays both breadth and depth of knowledge regardingfunctional and technical issues
  • Familiarity with software license management terms andexperience in managing governance for various license vendors (e.g.Oracle IBM Microsoft)
  • Leads large complex analysis efforts for initiativesacross Client
Skills: Qualifications:
  • 5 yearsprofessional experience in Software Asset Management
  • 2 years of audit/complianceexperience
  • Professional certifications (i.e. CSAM)
  • Bachelors degree in ComputerScience Information Technology or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel(Pivot tables functions/formulas and data visualization tools) andcomfortable working with large complex data sets
  • Understanding of how to query andstructure data to assist with data driven decisions andtroubleshooting
  • Experience to display complex quantitative data in asimple intuitive format and to present findings in a clear andconcise manner to leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsincluding the ability to communicate to both technical andnontechnical audiences
  • Ability to define measure and analyze processes toidentify improvement opportunities
  • Ability to influence others without directauthority and with a focus on creating buyin Recognizes theimportance of teamwork to achieve objectives.
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills adapts to change quickly and easily and ableto work under pressure
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and FlextNet Manager Suite(FNMS) JIRA Coupa SharePoint preferred
