About this role:
This position will hold responsibility for the overall people management at state level. Detailed responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following broad areas:

Roles & Responsibilitie s:

Hiring:

Carrying out recruitment process as per program requirement. Organizing resumes, scheduling tests and interviews. Conducting background and reference checks. Carrying out induction process for new staff.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintaining the employee records & updating staff details in HR software. Maintaining attendance and leave records. Preparing HR related reports.
Implementation of HR policies and processes. Assisting in the training for all staff on organizational policies and processes. Coordination with central, state and field teams. Maintaining records related to grievances, disciplinary actions etc. Help the staff to avail welfare benefits under various schemes. Addressing and resolving staff queries related to PF, ESIC, insurance, and other similar concerns. Any other work allocated by the reporting officer.

Travel: Visit to program locations on monthly basis.

Reporting to: This position is required to report to the State Head.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential/Educational / Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources.

Preferred:

Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Experience in similar position/role will be an added advantage. 01 years of relevant experience.

Pratham teams work in rural areas therefore willingness to travel within the state and to other Pratham offices for this position is essential.
