Requirements

  1. SupplierEvaluation &Selection

    • Conductinitial assessments and audits for new suppliers to ensure theymeet the companys qualitystandards.
    • Collaboratewith procurement and engineering teams to define supplierrequirements and select approvedsuppliers.

  2. SupplierPerformanceMonitoring

    • Trackand analyze supplier performance metrics including defect ratesdelivery timelines and compliance withspecifications.
    • Developand implement scorecards or dashboards to monitor supplier qualityand drive continuousimprovement.
    • Regularlyreview and report on supplier quality performance to seniormanagement.

  3. QualityControl &Assurance

    • Establishand enforce quality standards for incoming materials andcomponents.
    • Coordinateand perform regular audits of supplier production processes andquality managementsystems.
    • Workclosely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and developcorrective actionplans.

  4. NonConformanceManagement

    • Investigateand analyze nonconforming materials or components working withsuppliers to identify rootcauses.
    • Initiatecorrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with suppliers and ensuretimely implementation ofsolutions.
    • Maintainrecords of nonconformances and track trends to proactively preventrecurringissues.

  5. ContinuousImprovementInitiatives

    • Drivecontinuous improvement in supplier quality processes by applyinglean methodologies and bestpractices.
    • Facilitatetraining sessions for suppliers to align them with company qualitystandards andexpectations.
    • Participatein crossfunctional teams to improve processes and efficiency withinthe supplychain.

  6. Documentation&Compliance

    • Ensureall supplier quality documents are maintained updated and complywith relevant standards such as ISO Six Sigma or LeanManufacturing.
    • Developand maintain quality inspection procedures and checklists forincomingmaterials.

  7. Collaboration&Communication

    • Actas the primary liaison between suppliers and internal teamsmaintaining open and effectivecommunication.
    • Coordinatewith R&D engineering and production teams to ensureseamless integration of supplier quality standards into productdevelopment.
