Job Description

Working with the Project Manager as the technical Lead during project implementations the Implementation Senior Engineer will demonstrate advanced leadership, problem solving and customer service and relationship management skills. This role will be based in Mumbai.
Provide advanced product knowledge, installation and infrastructure skills in the implementations of Amadeus Airport IT self service products.
The Implementation Senior Engineer will be responsible for large project implementations and advising our customers of product usability. 
The Implementation Senior Engineer must be knowledgeable with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. He/ She will be responsible for documenting interfaces and managing interfaces across each product scope of project. And will be responsible for documenting test plan and test cases for each product in scope of project.
The role will be required to take accountability of the end-to-end delivery of Customer Facing projects, mainly on software, testing and go-live. 
This is a customer facing role that interacts within all levels of the client's organization from C Level to technical SMEs. The Implementation Manager will build very strong relationships in the customer organization to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and nurtures future business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities (Individual Contributor)


Technical manager for large project implementations, with overall responsibility for all installation and configuration activities:
- Act as site manager to deliver PPS solution as required at the customer site and work closely with Amadeus appointed Program Manager.
- Co-ordinate with Amadeus and Customer teams including their 3rd party subcontractors for the installation of Hardware at the site including establishing new connectivity with ISP
- Single point of contact from Amadeus for the interfacing discussion with customer, MSI and other 3rd parties
- Channel/engage with Amadeus internal teams for the interfacing discussion with customer and ensure timely sign-off of the ICDs for the delivery concerning Amadeus.
- Day-to-day co-ordination on the ground with customer teams including their 3rd party subcontractors
- Focus on delivering the contracted scope and stay on top of the key issues reported by the delivery streams, to ensure attention from the SMEs for the timely closure
- Owner of any identified technical issue until resolution.

Technical responsibilities
- Lead implementation and rollout of common use and self service products and infrastructure (LAN, Firewalls etc.)
- Facilitate customer testing phases such as Airline Acceptance Testing, UAT, SAT, OAT etc.
- Collect and document specific Customer data/ functional/ technical implementation requirements
- Understanding of airport IT systems, peripherals and software development lifecycles or other relevant experiences.
- Knowledge of Common Use products or other relevant experiences.
- Conduct analysis and contributes to joint product design efforts.
- Support the other teams involved in the SDLC: Business Analyst, QAs, etc.
- Perform commissioning activities of self service equipment prior to airline testing.
- Demonstrate initiative in contributing to problem solving, design solutions and team goals.
- Confident in technical skills and demonstrate substantial independence in the technical area.
- Conduct unit and package tests of the software to ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
