The Payment Aggregation business isregulated by the Reserve Bank of India. They are one of the firstrecipients of such licenses and will be adding more such regulatedproducts in its portfolio. We are looking for a dynamic regulatorycompliance leader who could work with various teams on the groundto build strong mechanisms to ensure compliance to the applicableregulatory framework while ensuring the best customer outcomes.
Roles& Responsibilities:
Regulatorycompliance framework help define regulatory compliance roadmapdevelop and implement compliance framework for the company preparecompliance checklists drive compliance projects stakeholdercoordination (internal and external) for compliance activitiesdrafting and review of policies relatedresearch.
Licensing related activities & support licensingapplications & support with regulatory communicationsrelated research/ product reviews setting up & monitoringrelated compliance frameworks managing audits obtainingcertifications etc.
Providecompliance support to stakeholders at various levels of theorganization to resolve compliance queries strategize on newproducts and ensurecompliance.
Provide regulatory support to InfoSec team security auditscybersecurity compliances etc. Provide support for various internaland external audits.
Regulatory& policy developments: Closely monitor payments and fintechregulatory landscape for developments provide insights on these andtheir impact on company strategy to internal stakeholders supportwith drafting and communications with externalstakeholders.
Work involves the following regulatory frameworks: RBI and NPCIregulations PA PPI PSO regulations Outsourcing PMLA KYC MD DigitalLending IT Act and Meity BaaS & banking RegulationsCrossborder payment regulations (OPGSP LRS RDA FEMA etc.) AadhaarAct etc.
RequiredSkills:
CA/ CS/ MBA/ Law graduate with 1013 yrs relevant work experience inBanks/ Fintech on regulatory compliance matters
Exposureto laws relating to payments fintech and banking including RBI andNPCI regulations retail and crossborder payments PSO regulationsBaaS and banking regulations IT Act and Meity PMLA and KYCregulations familiarity with payments infrastructure etc.
Strongexperience with managing endtoend regulatory compliancerelatedprojects and advisory. Experience and familiarity with productreviews
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicatecomplex legal concepts in simple language to nonlegal stakeholders
Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to thinkstrategically and provide creative solutions to complex legalissues
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment witha proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiessimultaneously
