Summary:

This role is for HedgeFund Industry based in North America and Canada and includesfunctions like Subscription Redemption AML screening PaymentReporting etc. Additionally role would include managing a teamwhich would support AML Center of Excellence (COE) based inIreland. The incumbent needs to understand these processes and lawsof the regions supported and perform day to day work in accordancewith procedure set for an activity. The role needs to work inrotational shift and there would be shifts starting at 1:30 PM orlater.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities

  • Ensure all internal and external servicelevels and regulatory deadlines are met. All NAV and paymenttimescales are met and AML periodic reviews are completed as perthe risk rating of the client.
  • Ensure all task procedures are followed bythe team. On an ongoing basis ensure all procedures are maintainedand that they reflect updates brought about from internal policy orregulation changes
  • Develop and maintain relationships withinternal teams across geographicallocations
  • Support thecontinued creation of the efficient operating model ensuring Indiahub is established with appropriatecontrols
  • Respond toenquiries promptly proactively handling issues and striving for thehighest levels of customer service
  • Provide a contact point and/or assistancewith queries from Clients Depositories etc and keycontacts.
  • Identifyinstances of noncompliance and refer to the Senior Managers and theCompliance Department and resolve them.
  • Maintain staff training and competencestandards with regular 11 and team meeting.
  • Maintain an awareness and understanding ofthe investment industry.
  • Develop in depth understanding of the processand department.
  • Ableto represent the Department/Organisation in variousforums
  • Assisting inresponding to regular reviews/audits and ComplianceVisits.
  • Champion anychange or improvement initiative by theOrganisation
  • Emergingrisks are identified assessed and captured within the departmentalrisk register and where appropriate subject to escalation to seniormanagement.
  • Operational controls are carried out inaccordance with the laid down business policies andprocedures.
  • Periodicassessments and test of effectiveness of InternalControls
  • Actions forimprovements are dealt with in accordance with agreedtimescales.
  • Createand maintain KPI and performance dashboards
  • Work closely with HR department in Hiringprocess i.e. Conducting interviews budgetingetc
  • Should monitorFTE Utilisation closely and inform to Senior Management in case ofvariances excess capacity or shortfall

  • To be a mentor to the Team Leaders orcolleagues who need assistance
  • Work collaboratively across the firm toachieve the Goals of the team / company
  • Motivate the team to ensure talent retentionand create positive work culture
  • Manage leaves shrinkage and other parametersas per company standard
  • Design KPI of the Team Leads and Members inline with Company and department goals
  • Understand the performance appraisal andbonus/incentive policies of the Organisation and successfullyadminister performance management cycles
  • Optimum utilization of Reward and Recognitionprogramme to create High PerformanceCulture
  • Ensure teamparticipates in Fun and other Organisation wideactivities

  • More than 10 years experience in FundIndustry and atleast 4 years in Managerialrole
