This is a remote position.

We are looking for Software TestEngineer to join ourteam.

Note: This is acontractual job (6 months)

  • Design develop and maintain arobust test automation framework using Playwright Node.jsTypeScript and JavaScript. Focus on creating scalable solutionsthat meet the evolving needs of our testingstrategy
  • Lead the technical aspects ofmigrating tests from Selenium/Java to Playwright/TypeScriptensuring that the new framework is both efficient andeffective.
  • Collaborate closely with testengineers developers and other stakeholders to ensure that theautomation framework integrates seamlessly with our development andCI/CDpipelines.
  • Work with DevOps andinfrastructure teams to ensure the automation framework is fullyintegrated with our CI/CD pipelines Docker environments andcrossbrowser testing tools likeBrowserStack
  • Advocate for and implement bestpractices in code quality including code reviews refactoring andperformance optimization within the testingframework.

Requirements

  • Strong software developmentskills with proven experience in Node.js TypeScript andJavaScript
  • Extensive experience in buildingand maintaining test automation frameworks preferably withPlaywright
  • Sound knowledge in a wide rangeof technologies and libraries used in an enterprise such as loggingand monitoring ORM authentication/authorization cloud hostingenvironments systems integration source control package managementetc
  • Indepth understanding of testautomation principles and best practices with the ability to designscalable and maintainablesolutions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelinesand integrating test automation frameworks within thosepipelines.
  • Knowledge of Docker and workingin containerisedenvironments

DesirableTechnical Skills
  • Experience migrating tests fromSelenium/Java toPlaywright/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with crossbrowsertesting tools likeBrowserStack.
  • Understanding of cloud serviceslikeAWS.
  • Knowledge of Unix & shellscripting.
  • Experience with shared Nodemodules and publishing tonpmjs.
  • Exposure to Terraform DockerCompose andMakefile.
  • Experience with SonarQube forcode qualityanalysis
