As a

Senior Test Automation Engineer,

you will be extensively involved in assuring quality with 100% coverage using agile practices like BDD (Behaviour-driven development) / TDD (Test-driven development) and Automation of test suites using frameworks like Selenium with Java.

Reporting to the Manager-QA within PANAMAX, you will be initially responsible for test coverage and automation design, architecture, and implementation. You will also be responsible for giving technical guidance and support to QA and development teams and support all stages of the software testing lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITYDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to understand requirements and develop test plans.Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects.Work on continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure smooth and efficient test automation.Mentor and guide junior QA engineers on best practices in test automation and quality assurance.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation and QA practices.Develop and maintain Java code which is using in the Performance testing tool (JMeter).TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED4+ years of experience in Automation Testing using the tools like Selenium+ Java, and JMeter with an understanding of testing methodologies and QA processes.Minimum 4 years of Quality Assurance experience primarily in Automation testing using Selenium, Java, and TestNGMin of at least 2 years of experience in the design and development of API Test automation frameworks.Expertise in testing APIs using tools and frameworks such as Postman, Soap UI, Rest Assured or Karate.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).Should have experience using any framework like - Cucumber / BDD / Any other.Perform R&D and POCs on new tools.Expertise in working with XML and JSON formats.Create organization's Test Automation Framework and set standards and guidelines.Working on application test framework that promotes re-usability and scalability of test assets.Ability to quickly understand complex applications and systems.Ability to transform manual test cases into modular automated tests.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.Ability to proactively comprehend problems and resolve them with minimal supervision.Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira).Experience with other automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, JUnit, TestNG).Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript).Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:Good Communication skills and analytical skills.
