Responsibilities

  • Researchand identify new business opportunities including new marketsgrowth areas trends customers partnerships products and services ornew ways of reaching existingmarkets

  • Generateleads and cold call prospectivecustomers

  • Meetwith customers/clients face to face or over thephone

  • Fosterand develop relationships withcustomers/clients

  • Understandthe needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively

  • Thinkstrategically seeing the bigger picture and setting aims andobjectives in order to develop and improve thebusiness

  • Workstrategically carrying out necessary planning in order to implementoperationalchanges

  • Drawup client contracts depending on the size ofcompany

  • Havea good understanding of the businesses products or services and beable to advise others aboutthem

  • Ensurestaff are on board throughout the organisation and understand theneed for change and what is required ofthem

  • Trainmembers of your team wheneverrequired

  • Discusspromotional strategy and activities with the marketingdepartment

  • Keepabreast of trends and changes in the businessworld.
