RoleSummary:

As a RiskManagement Specialist you will play a crucial role in safeguardingthe financial stability of a leading stock broking company. Yourprimary responsibilities will involve overseeing risk management.processes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements andaccurately reporting to relevantexchanges.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • RiskAssessment andMitigation:
    • Conductcomprehensive risk assessments identifying potential threats to thecompanys financial health.
    • Developand implement effective risk mitigation strategies to minimizeexposure to market credit liquidity and operationalrisks.
    • Monitor and manage riskexposures on a dailybasis.
  • RegulatoryCompliance:
    • Ensureadherence to all relevant regulatory guidelines and industry bestpractices.
    • Stay updated onregulatory changes and their implications for thecompany.
    • Prepare and submitregulatory reports to authorities such as SEBI (Securities andExchange Board ofIndia).
  • ExchangeReporting:
    • Prepareand submit accurate and timely reports to stock exchanges as pertheir requirements.
    • Reconcileexchange data with internal systems to ensure consistency andaccuracy.
  • RiskManagementSystems:
    • Implementand maintain risk management systems andtools.
    • Develop and refine riskreporting metrics anddashboards.
  • IncidentManagement:
    • Respondto riskrelated incidents promptly andeffectively.
    • Conduct root causeanalysis to prevent futureoccurrences.
  • StakeholderCommunication:
    • Communicateriskrelated information to senior management compliance officersand other relevantstakeholders.
    • Provide riskmanagement training and awareness tostaff.


Requirements

QualificationsandExperience:

  • Bachelors degree in finance Economics or a relatedfield.
  • Minimum 5 years of experiencein risk management preferably in the financial servicesindustry.
  • Strong understanding offinancial markets risk metrics and regulatoryframeworks.
  • Proficiency in riskmanagement software andtools.
  • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills.
  • Strongattention to detail andaccuracy.
  • Excellent communicationand interpersonalskills.

DesiredSkills:

  • Certificationin risk management (e.g. FRMCERA).
  • Experience working withregulatory bodies likeSEBI.
  • Knowledge of programminglanguages (e.g. Python R) for data analysis andautomation.

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor s degree in finance,Economics, or a related field.
