Weare actively seeking a dynamic and skilled L1 Technical RemoteEngineer to enhance our IT support team. The ideal candidate willpossess a broad expertise in desktop support adeptness introubleshooting Windows software issues network configurationsantivirus solutions and proficiency in managing printers peripheraldevices and audiovisual (AV) systems. Additionally expertise inOffice 365 administration including apps email Intune and licensemanagement as well as email support for iOS and Android devices iscrucial. The role demands a proactive problemsolver with acustomerfocused attitude and the ability to excel in a rapidlymoving remote workenvironment.

CoreResponsibilities:

  • Serveas the primary point of resolution for all user queries related tohardware software and applications ensuring a seamless userexperience.
  • Manageand resolve issues related to desktop and software setups includingthe installation and configuration of software drivers andantivirusprograms.
  • Addressnetwork problems to guarantee reliable and secure user connectivityalongside providing specialized email support for iOS and Androiddevices.
  • Overseethe functionality and troubleshooting of printers peripheraldevices and AV equipment facilitating effective communication andpresentations.
  • Administerthe Office 365 suite ensuring the smooth operation of applicationsemail accounts device management through Intune andlicensing.
  • Diagnoseand rectify technical problems involving internet connectivityemail clients IPTV VOIP and more with an emphasis on maintainingsecure and efficientoperations.
  • Documentall interactions and technical solutions in the company s ticketingsystem fostering clear communication and meticulousdocumentation.
  • Provideexpert guidance and support to endusers on leveraging varioussoftware and hardware to enhance their productivity andtechnologicalexperience.
  • Collaborateclosely with the IT team contributing to a cooperative andhighperforming workculture.
  • Stayupdated with the latest system information technological changesand updates to improve service quality continuously andeffectiveness.


Requirements
  • Provenexperience as a Technical Support Engineer Desktop Support EngineerIT Help Desk Technician or similarrole.
  • Strongunderstanding of computer systems mobile devices and other techproducts.
  • Abilityto diagnose and resolve basic technicalissues.
  • Familiaritywith remote desktop applications and help desksoftware.
  • Excellentproblemsolving and communicationskills.
  • Abilityto provide stepbystep technical help both written andverbal.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or relevantfield ispreferred.
  • Certificationssuch as CompTIA A CCNA Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) ITILv4 or similar will beadvantageous.


Prerequisites Knowledge of auxiliary systems (structured cablingsystems, switches, CCTV, AV) Working with vendors to correctlyselect systems (switches, firewalls, audio/visual etc) Must havestrong English communication both written and verbal. Must beconfident and socially adept. Must have a proven track record ofexceeding sales targets. Must be committed to excellence and havean attention for detail. Must have a working capability fortechnical sales, including passing vendor sales certifications.Must be able to handle pressure from time to time and always meetdeadlines. Must have excellent time management and organisationskills.
