Job Description:

Amantya Technologies is seeking a talented Oracle Database Engineer to join our team at either our Gurgaon or Bangalore office.
As an Oracle Database Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining our Oracle database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration and a passion for solving complex database challenges.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain Oracle database systems, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Design and implement database structures, schemas, and data models to support business requirements.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Implement and enforce database security measures, including user authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Monitor database performance and capacity utilization, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
• Plan and execute database backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot application-related database issues and optimize system performance.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements as     needed.
• Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and training purposes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the database team.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration and development.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. • Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture, including RDBMS concepts and features.
