Remote applicants will not be considered.  Responsibilities for the Systems Engineer I Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure are available Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools Participate in the design of information and operational support systems Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with internal teams to implement those fixes Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to increase system (and team) efficiency and lower the human intervention time on tasks Responsible for technical escalation from Desktop Support team Act as a liaison with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Qualifications of the Systems Engineer I 8+ years of progressively increasing IT experience Technical or bachelor’s degree in systems, software engineering, or related field Experience developing, managing, and monitoring Azure cloud Infrastructure Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and Autopilot Experience with Windows-based operating systems Experience deploying and managing infrastructure resources using automation tools like PowerShell Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Systems Engineer I Ability to communicate effectively in English at an intermediate level
