This is a hybrid position located in the Vadodara office, with a portion of the week required in the office. Fully remote applicants will not be considered.

Summary of the Staff Quality Engineer – Performance Test EngineerWe are seeking a skilled and detailed oriented Performance Test Engineer to join our development unit in India. As a Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing and optimizing the performance of software applications to ensure they meet or exceed defined performance criteria. Collaborating closely with development and quality assurance teams, you will design and execute performance tests, analyze results, and provide recommendations to enhance the overall performance, scalability and reliability of software products.

Responsibilities for the Staff Quality Engineer – Performance Test Engineer

Evaluate and optimize the speed, scalability, and overall efficiency of software applicationsDesign and execute performance tests, analyze results, and identify bottlenecks or areas for improvementCollaborate with development teams to implement enhancements and ensure that applications meet performance requirementsCreate and maintain performance testing environments, develop performance monitoring tools, and contribute to the overall performance testing strategyActively participate in defining and implementing an organization's overall performance testing strategyDeliver high-performing and scalable software solutions to meet user expectationsQualifications of the Staff Quality Engineer – Performance Test Engineer

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field8+ years in Software Testing and 4+ years as Performance testerExperience in performance testing and optimization of software applicationsProficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner, or GatlingProficiency in SQL Server, for querying and analyze data driven matricesExperience with test case management tools and defect tracking systemsStrong understanding of system architecture, databases, and application performance factors.JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner, or Gatling, SQL Querying requiredAgile/Scrum, DevOps Basic Workflow Understanding, Test Strategy, preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Staff Quality Engineer – Performance Test Engineer

Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (., Python, Java) for test automationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and collaboration skills
