KeyResponsibilities:

Jobresponsibilities include but not limitedto:

  • Monitorenvironments for security vulnerabilities and independently takeaction to remediate and/or mitigaterisks.
  • Deployand support framework and tools for MultiCloudPlatform.
  • PromoteCloud usage best practices across multipleorganizations.
  • Ableto work in both Linux and Windows based environments and associatedcodeframeworks.
  • Leadthe maintenance of a secure and scalable cloud (AWS) infrastructureplatform.
  • Collaboratewith product development architecture and IT teams on evaluationand implementation of new services based on therequirements.
  • Manageaccount administration on complex multiCloudplatform.
  • Participatein an oncall rotations to provide coverage during off businesshours.
  • Providetimely and appropriate communication to business ownersstakeholders and users on issue status andresolution.
  • Troubleshootproduction issues engage appropriate parties and drive through toresolution.
  • Collaboratewith teams across the company to improve the overall operationalmaturity of Cloud and onpremisessolutions.
  • Opportunityto continually improve operational processes andprocedures.
  • MaintainCloud security guidelines standards and best practices within theCloud architecture within Global Breeding;

QualificationsExperience and CompetencyRequirements:

Education:

Bachelorsin computer related field such as Computer Science InformationSystems or Management InformationSystems

Experience

Essential:

  • 3years of experience in Cloud Operations with one/morepublic/private cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure).
  • Abilityto design and implement robust and maintainableutilities;
  • Scripting/automationdevelopmentskills;
  • Enthusiasmfor collaborative iterative development high quality and robustsystems;
  • Experiencemanaging operational monitoring metrics and loggingsystems;
  • Experiencedesigning implementing and operating build & release automationand continuous integration anddeployment;
  • Demonstratedhistory of seeking out and bringing in newideas;
  • Unixsystem administration skills preferably in a container focusedenvironment;
  • Experienceoperating automating and scaling cloudbased Docker/Kubernetesinfrastructureplatforms;
  • Remainscalm and effective in the face of unexpectedchange.

Desirable:

  • Mastersdegree in computer science Engineering or Electronicsareas
  • Workingexperience on Agile way of working on projects and support system.Understand best practices and processes in alignment withorganizational context and types ofprojects
