Where do you fit in?We're on the hunt for a new Cloud Operations Engineer for one of our teams in India working on the R&D area.As a member of the Production Hosting department at Signant Health, the Cloud Operation Engineer will collaborate with development, release, and application teams to install, configure, deploy, and manage infrastructure, application components, and services in customer environments to ensure they are highly available, scalable, and sustainable. You will also work with Apps Integration and the DevOps teams to identify and resolve issues and improve the overall Support Process.

As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be to:Troubleshoot to identify root cause and work towards faster workarounds and resolution of reported issuesQuickly & effectively utilize existing tools and utilities to improve troubleshooting process in the long runEnsure the stability and availability of Application operation components running on Public Clouds.Participate in a 24x5 rotational shift and weekend on-call to support production environments.Control infrastructure costs by continually looking for opportunities to right-size servers and servicesRespond to alerts of application instability by identifying the root cause and taking corrective action.

You’ll need to bring:8+ years of experience in relevant roles.5 years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.3+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible and Ansible Tower, etc.Hands-on experience in Linux and Windows server operating systemsGood Knowledge in Container technologies and administration, such as Docker, ECS, EKS and AKS services, would be added advantage.Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and monitoring tools such as Nagios, Dynatrace and cloud Monitoring tools.Participates in a DevOps culture with a focus on cloud automation, such as continuous delivery, monitoring and alertingKnowledge in Agile process and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.Knowledge in Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting would be added advantage.Knowledge in database administration (PGSQL, MYSQL, Mango, etc.).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
