Job Description:

WaferWire is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our innovative team. This role involves implementing and maintaining robust DevOps practices within the Azure cloud environment to ensure seamless deployment and operation of services. The successful candidate will be pivotal in migrating pipelines, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the high availability of applications.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain robust DevOps practices within Azure cloud environment to ensure seamless deployment and operation of services.
  • Experience in migrating YAML pipelines.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and ensure high availability of applications.
  • Monitor system metrics, analyze trends, and proactively identify areas for improvement to prevent potential incidents and enhance scalability.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to incidents, employing troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and minimize service disruptions.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in DevOps methodologies with hands-on experience in Azure cloud platform.
  • Strong command over YAML and PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in migrating pipelines from 1ES to OneBranch.

Additional Information:

  • While experience in migrating pipelines from 1ES to OneBranch is highly valued, exceptional proficiency in YAML and general pipeline management may compensate for specific OneBranch experience. We are open to considering candidates who demonstrate outstanding skills in these key areas.
