You can expect the role to be quite varied fromweek to week and may extend job to Weekend and you will also enjoya high degree of autonomy in your daily work.

Theideal person with previous clinical experience would be anadvantage but full (and ongoing) training will be provided remotelyand at our education centers an absolute must for this position isthe ability to speak write Fluently inEnglish.

MajorResponsibilities

  • Traincounsel and support customers in adapting their work procedures andpropose new approaches following the installation or implementationof new or upgraded VMS products.
  • Developtailored training programmer for customers in the appropriate useof Varian Medical Systems hardware and softwareproducts.
  • Deliver high quality onsite / remotetrainings to customers to instruct them on newly installed VMSproducts upgrades to existing systems or for other productdevelopments.
  • Provide applications support forinternal VMS product testing activities and involvement withCustomer Satisfaction Phase testing whereneeded.
  • Provide occasional applicationssupport for Education Sales or Marketing where needed. e.g.Clinical School support / customer demosupport.
  • May also provide demo support tolocal regional and national customer tradeevents.
  • Provide support for and participationwith the internal training of other VMS colleagues whereneeded.
  • Keep up to date with reporting anddaytoday admin aspects by means of time sheets expense reportstraining reports etc. (as applicable) to ensure accurate companystatistical data on customer oriented activities is available andcurrent.
  • Maintain competencies and VMStrainings in an ongoing and timely manner. e.g. LMS certificationsinternal or external training courses or onsite hospitalvisits.
  • Attend Health Safety training to gainand maintain a sound knowledge and systematically apply nationallaws and VMS regulations on health safety in the workplaceenvironment particularly concerning travel safety radiation andelectrical safety

JobRequirements

  • Fluencyin English (spoken and written)
  • Be willing totravel extensively in India Bangladesh Nepal and Sri Lanka normaland non normal hours and days (as required) in order to bestsupport
  • Excellent communication skillsteaching experience a plus.
  • 4 yearsprofessional clinical experience working in radiotherapy andexperience in Oncology Management System(ARIA) and RadiationTherapy equipments Such as Truebeam Halcyonetc..
  • Competency with MS Windows and Officeapplications.
  • Sound understanding of customersand their clinical requirements.
  • Excellentcommunication and organizational skills along with a matureapproach are all prerequisites.
  • An in depthknowledge of modern radiotherapy techniques and their underlyingprinciples is also essential.
  • Good knowledgeof processes and methods used in VMS product areas such as productspecification product developments / expansions and productsecurity and safety.
  • Must be highlyselfmotivated and able to perform daytoday work with little or nodirect supervision whilst still maintaining good integration toworking with the wider team.
  • Must becomfortable working within an horizontal organizational structuresphilosophy.
  • Master Degree or Degree/Diploma inRadiotherapy Technology with 4 years of relatedexperience.

  • Be able tointerpret customer concerns and translate to machineissue.
  • Understand and utilize the escalationprocess to Senior FSE Management NTS PSE Applications RequiredCertifications and Training
  • Basic acceleratortheory knowledge.
  • Contributes to teamefficiency through the quality of personal work and by influencingteammate output to required standards.
  • Mustunderstand team collaboration and have effective networkingskills.
  • Able to work independently withinguidelines and policies and adhere to the corporate policies andprocedures.
  • Capable of managing their ownworkload and of excellent communication relationship building atall levels within and outside of theorganization.
  • Agile with being proactiveanalytical resultsoriented and able to make decisions within thescope of their role.
  • Be able to activelyproblem solve and suggest realistic innovations to processestowards creating a better customerexperience
