Job Description:

Siemens Healthineers is looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Product Application Specialist to join the Point of Care (POC) business unit. As a 'Product Application Specialist', you will have a crucial role in supporting the sales team through pre-sales activities, conducting sales demos, engaging with customers in clinical settings, and managing technical escalations or product service-related assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales Support:
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and customize product demonstrations accordingly.
  • Perform pre-sales presentations, product walkthroughs, and technical discussions to highlight the capabilities of Siemens Healthineers' Point of Care solutions.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings for tender-based projects.
  • Sales Demos:
  • Lead and organize product demonstrations to ensure a comprehensive display of features and benefits.
  • Offer detailed technical insights during demos to address customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Customer Clinical Engagements:
  • Interact with healthcare professionals in clinical settings to grasp workflow requirements and clinical challenges.
  • Illustrate how Siemens Healthineers' POC solutions can tackle specific clinical needs and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Siemens Healthineers' Point of Care product portfolio.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies related to Point of Care.
  • Escalation Management:
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for customer escalations, collaborating closely with the support team to address issues promptly.
  • Provide timely and precise updates to customers and manage internal stakeholder communication during escalation management.
  • Product Trainings & Hands-on Sessions:
  • Arrange and lead hands-on training sessions for customers, sales, and channel partner teams to enhance their proficiency in using Siemens Healthineers' Point of Care products.
  • Deliver ongoing support and follow-up sessions to reinforce efficient usage and address any user concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Laboratory Science, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar role within the healthcare or diagnostics industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of Point of Care diagnostics and familiarity with Siemens Healthineers' product portfolio.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the capability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and efficient handling of technical escalations.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and support.
