We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team for a project focused on designing, developing, and deploying LAN/WAN network infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for 3rd-level troubleshooting for all LAN/WAN alerts and issues, maintenance of all monitoring and reporting systems, and producing and maintaining documentation related to all systems developed/deployed. You will perform on-call duty for non-business hours support as per shift assignments, configure and install various network devices and services, and monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy LAN/WAN network infrastructure Responsible for 3rd-level troubleshooting for all LAN/WAN alerts and issues Responsible for maintenance of all monitoring and reporting systems Produce and maintain documentation related to all systems developed/deployed Perform on-call duty for non-business hours support as per shift assignments Perform administrative tasks pertaining to time entry and status reporting Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companys security team Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem-resolution

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience in Networks & Telecommunication Experience with SD-WAN Silver Peak preferred Experience with Next Gen Firewalls Cisco Firepower preferred Experience in troubleshooting routing loops Hands-on experience in troubleshooting asymmetric routing & STP loop issues Knowledge of implementation of operational changes & coordination with the project team for project-related changes Experience with Cisco ASA, IPS, ISE, and Cisco WLC Proficiency in configuring/troubleshooting routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, BGP Strong familiarity with LAN switching VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel Ability to configure/troubleshoot network security IPSec/SSL VPN/Cisco AnyConnect, AAA architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS, .1x Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst & Nexus 9K/7K series of switches Knowledge of Cisco IOS, and NX-OS software Experience with firewall cloud services Zscaler preferred Previous experience working on all applications such as SAP, Citrix, Portal, etc
