What you’ll do

Role title: General Manager – Workplace Client Ops (mac/mobility/windows)

Role Purpose:
The Service Lead for Workplace Client Operations is responsible for the provision of expert knowledge and influences the Technology strategy, by defining, designing, contributing, and implementing workplace strategy and standards for services under scope. Will lead a team of technology architects, solution designers, software architects, developers, and cloud engineering experts delivering enterprise platforms, solutions, tools, and self-services.

Key accountabilities 
• Leads a High-Performing Team: Oversee a team of MDM Platform architects, mobility Architects and Operational experts, fostering innovation and achieving excellence in client and cloud platforms.
• Cross-Functional Understanding: Promotes a culture of cross-functional understanding within the team to facilitate effective collaboration.
• Ability to lead technical discussions on strategy and direction.
• Cloud managed clients and platform Expertise.
Cloud based MDM Administration: Oversee the Design/Administration and maintenance of multiple cloud platforms, including Intune, JAMF Pro Cloud, Azure AD, Google Cloud, AWS, and sandbox test environments, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient systems.
• Responsible for Risk Mitigation.
• Financial accountability for the delivery of Business and new initiatives
• Deliver business as per Agile, LEAN, DevSecOps
• Responsible for Service Compliance, GDPR, Privacy, Cyber Security, Vulnerability and Penetration testing for respective domains.
• Lead and drive the architectural evolution of the digital workplace and service design of the medium & long-term roadmap based on the corporate strategy & in collaboration with different stakeholders: business, security, compliance & governance, user experience/change management, engineering and other architects in the organization.
• Advice IT management on architectural strategy & design/engineering.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Mobility operations and management, Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows migrations.
• IT Business Continuity Management: Lead continuity planning and transition and transformation of new technologies.
• Collaborations and Unified Communications: Proficiency in collaborations, unified endpoint management (Windows/macOS/Mobility, BYOD, CYOD), desktop engineering, SharePoint online, and M365 services, Azure, including estimation and solution planning.

Who you are

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• At least 18 yrs of experience over EUC frameworks
• Service Compliance 
• Cyber Security
• Agile, LEAN, DevSecOps project methodologies
• TOGAF 
• Finance and P&L

Must have technical / professional Skills
• Multi Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Apple Business Manager etc.
• MS Intune (End Point Manager)
• JAMF Pro and Protect Cloud
• Microsoft 365, Azure Desktops, MS Co-Pilot
• Proficient in Cyber Security standards applicable to Cloud Platforms
• Expertise in handling Budget/Business Case
• Knowledge on GDPR/PDPR
• Proficient in emerging technologies like AI, ML
• Proven record on Digitization and Automation
• Application, Software & Asset management
• Awareness on ITSM practices.
• Conditional access, endpoint protection concepts, zero trust architecture
