Position Goals

To achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs at WNS with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices; Manage M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables with in the stipulated time; To provide comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client; To achieve financial and other targets established by the Client/ Account Director; Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets. Integrator of all technical requirements with respect to WNS site requirement.

Duties & responsibilities

Property Operations:

Establish Engineering & Operational procedures for new equipment and roll out the same for site staff; To ensure team is following existing approved SOP’s. To handle internal & external Tech. & other related audits by ensuring documents in place in timely manner. To keep the track of PO’s & approved costs throughout the year & share with client periodically. Review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations; Plan & take responsibility for smooth operations of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations and Civil works pertaining to the facility; Responsible for planning a critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and inventory; Responsible for development of all maintenance related schedules and shutdowns in consultation with Clients / OEMs; Periodically inspect the logbooks, History cards, checklists, breakdown tracker and PPM schedules for a better management of engineering systems; Responsible to upload the same in digital platform. Work towards the ‘ZERO’ down time and set up the practices to ensure the delivery of seamless service to Clients; To keep the track of applicable legal requirements & share with client in timely manner to enable them to initiate for timely submission. Timely sub Follow-up from landlord in case builder is responsible for such legal documents.; Responsible for vendor performance evaluation by keeping records Responsible for scheduling & completing tech training of team through appropriate resources. Responsible for BOQ preparation, approval from client & quotation follow-ups.  Implement the Energy management programs to reduce the cost on utilities; Handle small renovation projects from initiation to completion. Little knowledge in Projects management is essential;

Reporting:

Responsible for weekly & monthly reports on M & E, covering the maintenance contracts, spare parts consumption, Incident reports, Improvement projects etc;

Should have good working knowledge on LT panel, DG, chillers, UPS, PAC & utilities.

Should have good communication skills

Employee specification

Graduate in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering

5-10 years’ experience in facilities management

Proven ability to function effectively as part of a team

Proven ability to initiate and follow through with

improvement initiatives

Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements;

Willing to work from any offices of WNS in Mumbai.
