Deputy Manager – Claims
 Gurgaon, Haryana, India

As a Deputy Manager your primary role is to lead a team including analysts/senior analysts, SMEs & AM’s. Handling insurance Claims, with team leaders and stakeholders. Work with business partners to identifyways to improve business processes.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

·Meet set processing targets/ SLA and make sure claims are processed within the agreed time frame.

·Develop a strategy for the team to reach the organization’s goal and communicate clear instructions to team members.

·Provide regular performance feedback and give frequent formal and informal coaching sessions

·Be responsible for the flow of day-to-day operations.

·Build reports to update Senior management on the team.

·Foster or maintain a collaborative relationship with internal and external customers to make sure satisfaction and profitability.

·Work with business partners to identify ways to improve business processes.

·Build a strategy to manage process escalation.

·Good knowledge of P&C Re-insurance and Co-insurance process life cycle.

·Make sure quickly respond to any queries from the Onshore claims managers or Brokers/Cedents.

·Meet set processing SLA / targets.

·Make sure all the process documents are managed and updated in real-time.

 We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

·Graduate / Postgraduate with couple of years experience within Re/insurance industry

·Ability to manage the team along with supporting the team as SME.

·Positive, innovative, and make it better mindset to bring operational efficiencies

·Experience in MS Excel and PowerPoint is required – support segment KPI and management reporting

·Self-starter who is answer orientated and can work within a team environment.

·Self-directly develops, communicates, and oversees the execution of answers to resolve issues persistent within the portfolio.

·effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal clients and customers.

·Organized with the ability to sort multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and detail orientated

·Ability to use initiative in day-to-day activities to resolve issues or flag them to management for review.
