Job Overview


We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team at ane-promotions, a leading sales and performance marketing agency specializing in the food industry. As a Sales Assistant, you will support the sales team in achieving their goals and ensure excellent customer service. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Excellent client correspondence skills
  • Strong service orientation with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to effectively liaise with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in coordinating trade shows or industry events is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Assist the sales team in day-to-day tasks and activities
  • Handle client correspondence, including phone calls and emails
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential leads and sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare sales presentations and proposals
  • Coordinate and assist in the execution of trade shows and industry events
  • Maintain accurate sales records and update the CRM system
  • Assist in the preparation of sales reports and forecasts
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
  • Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions for sales strategies and ideas
  • Stay updated on the latest product knowledge and industry developments
