Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Associate Taxation Accountant is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for assisting with the preparation and submission of tax statements and returns for the company.

This role learns the skills to provide advice on financial and tax matters and provides assistance to ensure tax legislation and planning compliance.

The Senior Associate Taxation Accountant assists with maintaining documentation, support and research any relevant issues, responding to tax correspondence and assisting with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision and related tax accounting.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

Uses tax form instructions and tax tables to make proper entries on tax submission forms. Ensures timely and accurate filing of all relevant direct and indirect tax returns. Assists with finding tax solution to assigned tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings. Supports the coordination of specific processes to support the implementation and execution of the taxation cycle in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. Prepares tax returns to ensure their alignment to federal and state income taxes for company at a local level for quarterly and annual federal and related tax compliance. Assists with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision and related tax accounting such as the reconciliation of tax data on financial statements. Assists with preparation of documents on behalf of the company including written correspondence and documents to be submitted to the relevant taxation bodies. Assists with the preparation of responses related to all types of tax and collate the information required for tax audits and queries raised by taxation regulators in the region / country. Obtains any supporting documents and compiles tax schedules for annual income tax returns. Assists with the coordination and review of the payment of taxes and remains abreast of developments and trends in their area of focus.

Demonstrate high ethics and adherence to company values. Precise and meticulous when preparing tax returns and other related documentation.


Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance / accounting or related field preferred. Registered with a professional body as Tax Practitioner


Required Experience:

Moderate level experience in similar role. Moderate level work experience in a related environment. Moderate level basic experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
