As aWorkday solution architect with primary focus on the AbsenceManagement module you will be responsible for identifying designingimplementing and maintaining absence management solutions withinWorkday and those relevant3rdparty absence management support systems that interface withWorkday.Thecandidate must have a proven track record of implementing andadministering Workday with expert level knowledge of the absencemanagement module and HCM processing.Therole will require the candidate to partner with stakeholders withinour total rewards team understand business needs definerequirements in support of the employees managers and businesspartner experience and to architect configure support and maintainsolutions to achieve desired business objectives.



Whatwill youdo

Ownthe Workdayabsencemanagementmodule to include best practices for the system architecture fromconcept through requirements design build test deploy andmaintain

Providesubject matter expertise on Workday absencemanagementbestpractices and partner with stakeholders to understand pain pointsprioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improveprocesses and gain efficiency by leveraging Workdayfunctionality

Identifybusiness critical Workday new features released (R1 & R2releases) and demo to ourstakeholders

Understandthe full P&C technology landscape especially how thirdpartypoint solutions are utilized and integrated withinWorkday

Developpartnerships with our total rewards COE stakeholders and provideguidance on how to best leverage and utilize Workday forabsencemanagement

Optimizestandardize and automate the Workdayabsencemanagementprocess across a globalenvironment

Assesscurrent setup configuration systems utilization and identify andrecommendimprovements

Developtraining to help end users with adoption and usage ofWorkday

Recommendand configure enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of theWorkdayabsencemanagementmodule and provide end to end solution and design details duringArchitectSessions

Leverageyour masterylevel knowledge of Workdayabsencemanagementto lead the design configuration integration data conversionsecurity testing reporting post production support and changemanagementactivities

Collaborateclosely with other Workday solution architects to leverageknowledge other solutions and best practice to ensure a holisticbestpracticeapproach

Reviewthe Workday new product releases identify features andfunctionality to adopt and coordinate the planning and executionand testing of those deliveredfeatures

Primaryfocus is Workdayabsencemanagementwith secondary focus to support other systemneeds

Planlead and facilitate art of the possible design and solutionarchitectureworkshops

Accuratelyestimate effort and resources required to complete projects asrelated to areas ofexpertise

Mentorand guide more junior colleagues for their roles in configurationandtesting

Provideexcellent customer service in response to P&C inquiries andresolve inquiries accurately andtimely

Utilizea case tool for capturing all inquiries requests and customerinformation




What Were Looking For

Bachelors Degree in IT Business or related field

Minimumof 4 years of industry experience in WorkdayAbsencemanagementassolution architect delivering and configuringabsencemanagementsolutionsand full lifecycle implementations of theabsencemanagementmodule

WorkdayPro certified with mastery level experience in WorkdayAbsencemanagementpreferred

Experienceand knowledge of other Workday modules preferred such asHCM

Excellentverbal and written communication escalation and conflict resolutionskills

Strongproblemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot technicalissues

Experiencedeveloping and delivering trainingprograms

Strongattention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy andintegrity

Apassion for excellent customer service adaptable & flexible

Abilityto multitask and work effectively and efficiently deliveringhighquality work in a fast paced changing workenvironment

Abilityto comply with handling sensitive and confidential employeedata

Worksunder general direction; must be able to workindependently
